Saoko loves editing in a wide variety of genres, including theater performances, films, TV, commercials, corporate videos, documentaries, webisodes and more. Her extensive work represents that she has a lot of interests in her life and she never stops!
She was born and raised in Tokyo, Japan, where she trained as an actress/dancer and received her BFA from Japan College of Art as a Drama Major. While working as an actress, she has moved to NY in 2004, and gradually became interested in the other side of filmmaking, especially the process of editing. Since then she has worked at several production studios in New York and with freelance clients.
